Description: The EMS Communications Specialist shall perform all tasks necessary to ensure timely scheduling and transportation including answering phones, screening transport requests, recording all required information, verifying insurance information and making sure that pre-authorizations are being obtained as needed, ensuring timely patient transports to and from facilities, and patients’ homes via ambulance and wheelchair van.
