Job: PRNOC003566 Description Job Summar y The Occupational Therapist plans, organizes and administers medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability for patients suffering from injuries; muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases; debilitation; and/or loss of ability to perform functional activities. Job Responsibilities Review physician's prescription, patient's condition and medical records to determine occupational therapy treatment required. Test and measure patient's strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency, and record findings to identify a therapy diagnosis and develop or revise a comprehensive plan of care. Plan and prepare a written evaluation report and treatment program based on evaluation of patient data.
