Other job duties include performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostics, daily maintenance and QC of ABG machines and competency testing. RCP's will perform clinical duties and operate equipment according to department policy, with an appropriate physician's order and according to manufacturer guidelines. Description The Associate Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The Associate Respiratory Therapist should be a solid performer who is fully competent in all aspects of his/her job description.
