Overview At the direction of the Director, supervisor, and/or under the guidance of a Rehab therapist or registered nurse: assist in or provide mobilization of patients; assist with personal care of patients; prepares equipment used to mobilize or treat patients; answers call bells of patients; provides administrative assistance and duties specific to the clinical care department. Prepare and position patients for treatment. Assists the Rehab therapists during and after treatment.

Assists nursing staff with personal care of patients.
Assists with ambulation and exercise plan at the direction of the treating therapists or registered nurse.
Obtains supplies, sets-up and adjusts adaptive equipment, and prepares treatment modalities.
Assists with transfers and mechanical lifting of debilitated patients.
Assists in transporting patients to and from the gym or ancillary departments.
