Overview
Evaluate, plan, direct and administer Physical Therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician, performing all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors
Has skills in both the inpatient and outpatient settings to effectively provide Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments in either location. The amount of clinical focus spent within both settings is expected to be a 50% and 50% split, however access, volumes, and departmental needs will ultimately guide the usage.
Should be flexible and responsive to providing care in alternative settings such as the Emergency Department, PACU, Express Care, or other identified area of need.
Should at minimum be familiar with best practice and the latest evidence for common ambulatory clinic pathologies such as degenerative conditions, neurologic impairments, general orthopedics, and post-operative care....
