THIS IS A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of a Behavioral Consultant, or Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), the Behavioral Technician directs, guides, teaches, mentors students with autism, and teaches/mentors new hires for behavioral/educational instructors. Uses the Applied Behavioral Analyses (ABA) techniques to reinforce desired behaviors set up through the programming. Treats students and their families with dignity and respect while helping to reinforce a positive and conducive environment for learning.
