The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Cardiology provides care to patients in our cardiology wards and procedural areas, frequently practicing under clinical pharmacy agreements. At our cardiac center for the Providence Oregon Region, pharmacists care for complex patients, including those receiving advanced heart failure therapies and heart transplant. They respond to medical emergencies. They are preceptors for our large residency class and for students in our layered learning model.
