Department Pharmacy Job Summary The Pharmacy Technician II works under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists in accordance with Florida law, rules, and regulations. Responsible for assisting and supporting pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient focused manner that supports and promotes medication safety, as well as responsibility for supporting the preparation and distribution of medications. The Pharmacy Technician II works in more advanced technician roles than the Pharmacy Technician I. Required Qualifications - Require active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida. - Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance. - Require one (1) year of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or comparable organization.
