Job Summary Under the direction of a pharmacist, a pharmacy technician performs pharmacy-related functions in compliance with departmental policies and procedures and participates as an active member of the pharmacy team to provide pharmaceutical care for patients. Accountabilities in the retail space include competency in all responsibilities outlined for Pharmacy Technician I, while performing in advanced areas as outlined by the South Carolina Pharmacy Practice Act as tasks requiring Pharmacy Technician Certification.
