Identifies and intervenes on problems related to the medication needs of the patient. 2. Utilizes and analyzes patient data to provide optimal drug therapy recommendations. Summary: The Automation Pharmacist plays a key role in optimizing Automated Dispensing Cabinet contents, implementing, and maintaining pharmacy automation systems. This position ensures that automation technology supports workflow, improves medication safety, and enhances high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Position will be stationed at UNC Medical Center but will require occasional travel to offsite locations as needed. Travel reimbursement is available.
