Description: The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist is a decentralized pharmacist position. The Pharmacist Clinical Specialist functions as a member of the multidisciplinary patient care team with direct patient care responsibilities in multiple settings across the hospital including the Intensive Care, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Nursery units, as well as the Emergency Department and Ambulatory Infusion Center. This pharmacist works closely with the medical staff, nurses, pharmacy leadership team and fellow pharmacists in planning, implementing and assessing various medication-related programs throughout the hospital.
