Job Description Summary The Pediatric Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship will lead efforts to optimize antibiotic use in children by guiding evidence‑based prescribing, monitoring resistance trends, developing treatment protocols, providing necessary education and collaborating with clinicians to improve patient outcomes while reducing unnecessary antimicrobial exposure. The specialist will function as part of the MUSC Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacy team and will participate in stewardship staffing and cross-coverage as deemed necessary. They will also play an integral role in the MUSC Health ID PGY2 residency program.
