Department Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) Job Summary Welcome to Sarasota Memorial Health Care Systems Adult Population Rehab Department! Sarasota Memorial's 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility is a hospital based intensive rehab dedicated to patients recovering from multi-trauma, stroke, neurological diseases such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and brain injury; spinal cord injury, orthopedic, oncology, and other complex cardiac and medical diagnoses. We are the only hospital-based rehab facility in Sarasota County capable of providing emergency access to important hospital services and healthcare specialists. Our program offers an intensive, coordinated, interdisciplinary rehabilitative approach designed to optimize each patient's potential for recovery and return home through our medical management, state of the art technology and rehabilitative techniques, as well as coordination of care for discharge and beyond.
