Description: The Clinical Nurse Educator – Critical Care Unit is responsible for coordinating, planning, executing, evaluating and providing education activities and orientation programs to nursing staff. Planning will be in collaboration with the Professional Practice & Development team. Updates and facilitates nursing competencies, policies and procedures and special projects as assigned. The Clinical Nurse Educator – Critical Care unit will serve as a resource to nursing leadership, staff and preceptors in the areas of nursing process, clinical knowledge and skills. This role will have a dotted line to the Director for Professional Practice & Development.
Requirements
Current and valid Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or from a state that is part of a Compact agreement with Virginia
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or obtain in 24 months upon hire
Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a practicing registered nurse or adult...
