Job: STUDE003979 Description Job Summary The Student Nurse Tech assists with basic patient care activities and performs administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area. Obtains competencies for performing new techniques or skills required of the position. Job Responsibilities Provide patient care in the provision of routine hygienic, nutritional, and comfort needs of patients such as, but not limited to: bathing, distributing fluids and nourishments, feeding, ambulating, changing bed linens, oral care, grooming, shampooing hair, toileting, etc. Perform basic nursing support tasks such as but not limited to: obtaining vital signs, answering call lights, transporting (i.e. patients, specimens, etc.), assisting with patient transfers, and range of motion.
