Position Summary: The Neurodiagnostic Technologist (NDT) uses electro-neurodiagnostic equipment to perform tests as directed by a physician to diagnose neurological conditions such as epilepsy, seizure disorders, strokes, motor neuron disorders, and degenerative brain diseases. Specific job responsibilities are contingent on department need and competency to perform specific diagnostic tests. Essential Functions: Summarize technical data to assist physicians to diagnose nervous system disorders. Conduct tests or studies such as electroencephalography (EEG), polysomnography (PSG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), and electromyography (EMG) submitting reports to physicians summarizing test results.
