Requires consultation with more experienced clinicians and benefits from feedback. UVA operates five Cardiac catheterization labs and five EP labs. Each unit operates independently of one another. The Cath lab CIS supports patients undergoing coronary angiograms, diagnostic and interventional coronary interventions, right heart catheterizations, structural heart cases, peripheral cases, ventricular support devices, and/or pediatric diagnostic and interventions cases.
