5928 Job Summary: The Echocardiograper is expected to interact with patients and their families in a caring, compassionate manner and provide care with the highest regard for the patient's mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. The Echocardiographer is responsible for providing basic and advanced services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The Echocardiographer is responsible for the performance of echocardiographic studies to include: Cardiac Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo (TEE), with and without Contrast as required. The Echocardiographer is required to deliver services to patients in all areas of the hospital, within the laboratory setting, the CVOR, and in the physician office setting. 3725 Job Summary : The Cardiac Diagnostic Technologist II is responsible for providing basic and advanced electrocardiographic services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This advanced level Cardiac Diagnostic position implements the standard EKG services of the Cardiac Diagnostic Technician position, as well as advanced procedures to include Stress Nuclear Medicine procedures and Stress/Echo testing. The position also requires extensive scanning, analysis and report generation for holter, event, and long term cardiac monitors received from within CarolinaEast Medical Center, the CarolinaEast Heart Centers and CIM physician offices. The individual is required to deliver services to patients in all areas of the hospital and those services are to be performed day/evening/nights and weekends as required to provide continuous, consistent diagnostic testing.
