The Technician implements standard EKG services and special procedures to include; extended event monitoring, 24/48 hour Holter monitoring, Stress testing, Stress/Nuclear Medicine procedures and Stress/Echo testing. The position also requires extensive scanning, analysis and report generation for Holter monitors received from the CarolinaEast Heart Centers and CIM physician offices. The Technician is also responsible for the day-to-day performance of the departmental duties to include; computerized document and data management systems, and documentation for billing purposes.
