Description: The Radiology Special Procedures (RSP) Technologist II is responsible for the management and coordination of patient care for the patients in the designated Radiology area. He/she accomplishes this responsibility through the performance of Special Procedure exams and in coordination and collaboration with the medical staff and other members of the patient care team. He/she provides care, which is consistent with the needs of the age of the population served. Patients include inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients. The population of these patients varies from pediatrics to geriatric patients.
