UOVUNIUSR0073187EXTERNALENUS 2nd Shift Under the supervision of the Faculty Advisor and the Laboratory Manager the Section Leader is responsible for planning maintaining and monitoring all of the functions within a defined scope of testing within the department including ensuring that the department meets all standards set forth by CAP TJC CMS and AABB. Maintains procedures and equipment for specified area of departmental testing. Maintains compliance with all standards set forth by relative accrediting agencies. Ensures appropriate instrument/equipment quality control performance and maintenance. Maintains appropriate inventories and effectively manages use of supplies and reagents. Performs laboratory procedures. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
