Job Objective: Works directly under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in giving emergency care to patients. Performs selected technical procedures and tasks and assists physicians and nurses in direct patient care. Takes and records clinical measures, collect specimens, provide transportation, maintain equipment and supplies as well as participate in a safe patient care environment. Projects an image of professionalism in communication, appearance, and conduct, and supports the ED mission.
