UOVUNIUSR0080325EXTERNALENUS The Emergency Department Paramedic position is an experienced professional that provides care in the Emergency Department setting under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Nursing delegation and supervision guidelines and within the scope of practice of a Paramedic in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Paramedic is an adjunct to the Register Nurse in providing care and supports the clinical care within the department to support of direct and indirect patient care activities throughout UVA Emergency Department.
