Anesthesia Clinical Assistant– Inpatient Surgery – St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital Shift/Schedule Full Time - Scheduled for 40 Weekly Hours Shift/Schedule - Days/Afternoons (6a-2:30p) THIS IS A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT POSITION. Primary Function/General Purpose of Position: This position supports the licensed care provider in the clinical setting by providing support for surgical procedures, insertion of blocks, and invasive monitoring. Assists in preparation of anesthesia equipment as well as the anesthesia delivery system before and during the time anesthesia is administered to patients. Responsible for first level of maintenance of anesthesia equipment including but not limited to cleaning, disinfecting, maintaining supply stock, ordering, and expediting repairs.
