POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a background in Recreational Therapy to work with our rehabilitation population. This individual will be involved in helping patients return to their leisure activities following traumatic medical conditions or injuries. The focus of the work is on inpatient care, but some opportunities are available to support patients by accessing community resources such as: peer mentors from the community, support groups for various diagnostic groups and introducing community resources (e.g. VT. Adaptive sports, Amputee Coalition, Complementary services)
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation or other related field. National Therapeutic Recreation Certification preferred
Experience: Minimum of one year clinical experience in an acute rehabilitation health care setting, providing direct patient services, or with other specialty populations
Salary: Min: $23.39 / Mid: $29.83 / Max: $36.26
