Summary
Summary
Responsible for clerical and clinical functions related to Parkview Workplace Wellness and contracted workplace employees. Attends on-site wellness screening events to collect biometrics measurements as well as phlebotomy for participants lab draw. Greets patients in person with courtesy and respect. Registers patients using Workplace Wellness database.
Education
Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. At least one year of education as a medical assistant, phlebotomist, emergency medical technician, pharmacy technician preferred. Prefer Associate Degree in Applied Science in Medical or related field.
Licensure/Certification

Must have a valid driver's license. Current CPR (AHA) certification required (or obtain within 30 days of employment). |
Experience
Must have completed externship or equivalent training in a medical office or hospital setting. Prefer candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in medical assisting, phlebotomy, pharmacy technician, emergency medical technician, or related experience. Experience managing cash and credit card payments also a plus.
Other Qualifications

Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred. Must be familiar with computers, electronic medical record experience preferred. |
