Job Description

The Occupational Therapist I provides Occupational Therapy services both in-patient adult and/or pediatrics, as well as out-patient care.
The Occupational Therapist I: (1) provides evaluation, treatment and follow-up of patients as referred by the physician for occupational therapy;
(2) provides accurate, regular documentation of patient’s status (oral and written);
(3) supervised volunteers, Occupational Therapy aides, Administrative Specialists and students;
(4) maintains departmental supplies, equipment and facilities
(5) assists with routine departmental duties;
(6) participates in professional development.

Additional Job Description

Education: A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current South Carolina licensure and NBCOT certification required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Greater than 1 year of applicable experience required.
