Job Overview: The X-ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians and APP's in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The X-ray Technologist ensures quality imaging, radiation safety, and efficient workflow in the clinic. Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technologist in a hospital or physician's office  Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook Preferred: EPIC knowledge is a plus Working with Carestream XR machine and Horizon Health Care PACS is a plus Experience with non-weightbearing patients/stretcher patients is a plus Knowledge of leg length series is a plus Certifications and Licenses Required: AART NJ Radiologic Technologist License CPR Certification approved by the American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements: 8:30am - 5:00pm, 10 hours/week Monday - Friday Part-Time Essential Functions: 40 x-rays per day Multiple views for Sports Medicine, Trauma and Joint Replacement, Upper Ext, Lower Ext, and Spine Other duties as assigned Other Things to Know: This job description outlines the core responsibilities of the role, but it’s not meant to cover every task you may take on.
