Performs routine diagnostic Nuclear Medicine exams for evaluation and treatment by physicians.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and
initiative to complete required procedures. May have access to areas where medications are stored
and/or prepared for purposes of fulfilling job duties.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must meet the educational requirement for Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification with NMTCB or ARRT (NM)
Preferred:
Associate’s Degree or higher
Licensure/ Certification
Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT or NMTCB with documented Continuing Education to maintain registration/certification or meet requirements to be certified by NMTCB
Must possess advanced Nuclear Medicine Registry/Certification
CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire
Completed an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
Experience
One or more years of experience in the field of Radiology
Preferred:
Prior Nuclear Medicine experience
