The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Assists in Respiratory Department in maintaining supply inventory, including Medical gas supply on patient units, PI medical gas compliance assisting RT Equipment tech with Invasive and Non invasive mechanical supply and other equipment for compliance with facilities for PM and review assisting with departmental PI and other duties to support RT Department Manager. Supports and promotes effective patient engagement by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors; maintains confidentiality of work related issues and performs other duties as required or assigned Participates in ongoing mandatory modules and education. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred: Previous hospital or medical experience preferred Certifications and Licenses Required: BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association Essential Functions: Assists in inventory of non-Pyxis supplies Maintains inventory of all medical gases necessary for daily operation of the Respiratory Care Department and Medical Center Performs maintenance, daily rounds and stocking of supplies for the departmental Blood Gas Machines Cleans and maintains Respiratory Care equipment Answering phone calls assisting in scheduling PFT’s Assisting manager with other duties including back-up for equipment tech Benefits and Perks: At RWJBarnabas Health, our market-competitive Total Rewards package provides  comprehensive benefits and resources to support our employees’ physical, emotional, social, and financial health.
