Summary
Position will spend approximately one week in CMMC/ATU clinics and three weeks in Outpatient Pharmacy on each schedule page. Weekday shifts may be scheduled at either PRMC or Randallia. Additional position commitments include up to every third weekend at Medical Park 11 Pharmacy (currently open on Saturdays only) and up to two holidays annually.
The technician must be willing to learn and utilize new areas of Epic, speak with insurance companies, and learn about the point-of-care INR devices to answer patient and caregiver questions. The ideal candidate must be self-driven and team-oriented with a caring and encouraging attitude. Must possess excellent time-management skills with a strong ability to multitask while maintaining impeccable attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills with considerable amounts of patience, compassion, and empathy are musts (both in person and over the phone).
Licensure/Certification: Must have or be eligible for a State Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern for the State where services will be provided.
Experience: At least one year pharmacy experience and/or pharmacy technician oriented formal class work preferred.
