Responsibilities:RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs and supervises the daily operations of mammography and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead Mammography Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained and performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.

Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3 years technical experience as a Mammography Technologist
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Must be ARRT (M) - Mammography registered.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certified.
Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Experience in leadership of personnel.
Knowledge of regulatory and ACR accreditation requirements
