As a Certified Lymphedema Physical Therapist , you’ll assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity for patients recovering from injury or illness. You’ll deliver services across the entire continuum of care, always with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment:
Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans tailored to each patient’s physical therapy needs.
Work with patients and their families to create realistic care and discharge plans.
Treatment Planning and Care Provision:
Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
Choose engaging activities to help patients progress toward their goals.
Revise treatment goals with patient and family input and provide ongoing education and training.
Offer discharge instructions and connect patients with community resources as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain clear documentation of evaluations and care plans following departmental guidelines.
Accurately record each treatment session and complete necessary paperwork on time.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required.
Licenses/Certifications:
Ga Physical Therapist license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, customer service focus, teamwork mindset, and basic computer skills.
