33424 Description Under the direction of the Breast Imaging Manager and Medical Director, the Mammography Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography using a variety of mammography equipment. The technologist provides compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards. Essential Duties: Perform digital mammography examinations and assist the Radiologist with procedures as needed. Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, address questions and concerns, and ensure patient comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout the visit. Review imaging requests for appropriateness and coordinate examinations with other departments and services as needed.
