Description: The telemetry technician in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is responsible for communication of information, surveillance of arrhythmias on monitored patients, including interpreting, printing and posting telemetry strips, and facilitating effective and efficient communication in the unit. This team member is also responsible providing patient care as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) and will perform clerical duties such as registration functions to aid in the efficient operations of the unit.
