The technologist effectively operates MRI equipment to produce quality images in a variety of settings (Radiology Department and the Imaging Center). The technologist explains procedures to the patient, answers questions for the patient, and ensures patient comfort. Regarding patient safety, the technologist will use proper positioning with the appropriate coil and research implanted devices as needed.
