Summary
The Transport Paramedic will function as a team member providing care and transportation to pediatric and neonatal patients via ground ambulance, helicopter and fixed wing aircraft. The Paramedic is required to maintain the readiness of equipment, availability of supplies and complete related paperwork. The successful candidate should have the desire to expand their knowledge of pediatric and neonatal patients and be able to apply that knowledge in the transport environment. They should be self-motivated, highly organized, have strong customer service and communication skills, and have the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience for an EMT-P/LP
Current Texas Certification or Licensure as a Paramedic
Valid Texas Driver’s License and Auto Liability Insurance.
CPR – BLS certification required
ACLS, PALS, NRP and STABLE certifications required within 90 days...
