Overview This full-time, 40-hour/week day-shift position of Medical Imager/X-Ray Tech is embeded in Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center's Pain Clinic and its purpose is to perform fluroscopy for Pain Clinic procedures. Responsibilities Operates the section's imaging equipment while performing section procedures.Reviews medical record for patient history and pertinent clinical information.Transfers the patient to imaging table, explains the procedure and positions the patient according to protocol. Selects proper exposure technique and follows protocol though out exam. Documents patient care in Optime: medications administered and vital signs. Assists with discharging patient from procedure: review d/c instructions and providing ice pack Assists with room turnover Manages entering procedure orders to c-arm and ultrasound Assists with managing procedure room supplies Performs low level disinfection of procedure instruments Assists with tray set up for procedures....
