Summary
The Child Life Specialist is responsible for assessing, educating, preparing and supporting patients and families in the health care system. The Child Life Specialist will collaborate with other health care providers, as well as the community, to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment for patients and families throughout the health care experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Child Development or a closely related field
Completion of Child Life Internship is required
Certified Child Life Specialist must be obtained within one year of hire
CPR - BLS is required within 60 days of hire
