Swedish Medical Center is looking for an Occupational Therapist (Per diem, Day SHIFT) to work in Inpatient Occupational Therapy at Swedish Edmonds in Edmonds, Washington.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing quality inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy services to adult, geriatric, and select adolescent and pediatric patients.

In this position you will:

  • Perform assessments and evaluations of the patient in a variety of age groups; perform assessments and evaluations of patients; and administer scientifically-based purposeful activity and training based on established plan or goals
  • Communicate patient's progress or concerns both verbally and in writing with physician, patient, family, other hospital personnel and community agencies
  • Oversee all treatment provided by O.T. Assistants, supportive personnel and students
  • Continuously improve patient care delivery and enhances your own professional development
  • Increase awareness of health and safety issues by providing community and hospital staff education


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Washington State license to practice Occupational Therapy
