In this position you will:

We are seeking a Diag Sonographer I

Performs a variety of sonographic examinations dealing with OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts. Expectations also include assisting the radiologist during invasive procedures. Performs abdominal Doppler studies of the liver and liver transplants, as well as performing Nuchal Translucency studies and neonatal cranial exams. One additional certification i.e. Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchaltranslucency or the Neonatal specialty is required for sonographer 2 status. Makes a clinical judgment of the patient's condition, based on information obtained from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview and personal assessments.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications this position include:

Education:

Coursework/Training Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program.

License/Certification:

o RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in Abdomen and OB/GYN required.

o Advanced Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, Nuchaltranslucency, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo or Neonatal specialty registration required at hire or promotion for a level 2 sonographer.

o Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN).

Experience:

2 years Experience as a sonographer.

open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week; an advanced diagnostic imaging center (with X-ray, mammography,

ultrasound, CT scan and MRI), staffed by partners from Seattle Radiology; an on-site laboratory; and offices for primary-

and specialty-care providers. Swedish Redmond will immediately treat patients suffering from stroke to severe lacerations
