The Care Support Assistant provides a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors by ensuring those who enter the medical facility are not exhibiting signs of illness and are following hospital guidance with regard to personal protective equipment.

Experience REQUIRED: Previous experience using a personal computer and various software applications, including Microsoft, e-mail, etc.; Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience PREFERRED Previous work experience in a healthcare setting
Education/training REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED: Post High School courses in an allied health or healthcare related field from an accredited program Independent action(s) required: None Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): None
Additional position requirements: Must be prepared to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, extended hours and during inclement weather to ensure patient flow and throughput
