Job Description


Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Radiologic Technologist (0.5 FTE, Day SHIFT) to work for Issaquah Radiology Clinic at Swedish Medical Group in Issaquah, WA.

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible to perform Diagnostic imaging exams and radiology tasks. Ensuring that department quality standards, safety and compliance and regulatory requirements are met on a daily basis..

In this position you will:

  • Assure appropriate utilization of Radiation Protection prescribed by safety standards is utilized.
  • Consistent use of AIDET system for excellent service.
  • Analyzes patient’s general body size, physical condition and age to accurately perform radiologic examinations.
  • Prescribe ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis of outpatients.
  • Perform a wide variety of radiographic procedures accurately, independently, efficiently. May include EKGs and Dexa Scans at some locations.
  • May conduct on the job specific training for new and existing team members to ensure understanding of the job, responsibilities, policies and procedures.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school
  • ARRT board certification in radiology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)
  • Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT board certification in radiology
  • Demonstrated ability to operate PACS, RIS, CR/DR x-ray equipment, fluoroscopy, and C-arm to produce anatomical images for diagnostic purposes
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook and Word)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all medical, financial and other sensitive materials and information

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • EPIC/Radiant experience
