Providence is calling a Service Support Aide - Elderplace Transportation (0.6 FTE, Days) to Elderplace Belmont in Portland, OR

We are seeking a Service Support Aide - Elderplace Transportation that will perform basic service support aide duties for participants of ElderPlace. Includes companionship, personal care, assists with w/c transfers and other support activities for participants located at contracted physician specialist offices.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist with or performs duties which may include chaperone, companionship of participants while they are on medical or other appointments
  • Cue or assist the geriatric participant with activities of daily living skills, such as toileting, transfers
  • Report all pertinent observations concerning geriatric participants to immediate supervisor or appropriate discipline team


Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • Knowledge of universal precautions
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
