Swedish Medical Center is looking for a CT Technologist (0.9 FTE, Day SHIFT) to work for the CT Scanning at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner.

In this position you will:

  • Demonstrate complete understanding of multi-slice CT scan applications.
  • Accurately provide diagnostic images and related functions.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of human anatomy to satisfactorily allow optimum positioning of patients for imaging procedure. Perform procedure in a manner which allows patients to be comfortable, both physically and emotionally.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety, use of protective devices and application of universal precaution techniques.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and information of current scan techniques.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Completion of formal Radiologic Technology program
  • Two (2) years experience in medical imaging, including one (1) year as a Radiologic Technologist registry by ARRT upon hire
  • Washington State Certified Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic license CPR certification
  • Post primary certification in CT within one (1) year of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN)
