Position Summary

The Cardiac Sonographer performs routine echocardiograms and transesophageal exams in accordance with VH protocols for use by the Cardiologist to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions. He/She modifies and delivers care that is specific to the age, growth and level of development of patients adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Minimum Requirements

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • The employee mush have an ARDMS or CCI registration with current certification or registry obtained within the first six months of employment
  • A minimum of 2 years AMA accredited program in radiologic technology or ultrasound

This is a PRN, work as needed position.
