36Summary:
The MRI Technologist is accountable for performing quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging through the application of advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to patient care. The MRI Technologist is accountable for providing expertise for all ages from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable outpatients to critically ill patients on full life support.
Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts per week - generally Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 8:00am to 8:30 pm
Occasional opportunity for extra shifts
Position includes participation in rotational on-call coverage
Qualifications:
Associate's degree required
Graduation from accredited program in Radiological Technology
2-3 years MRI experience preferred
Pediatric experience is desirable
Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross sectional anatomy Good interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress.
Must have either: - ARRT (RT) (MRI), requires TMB Licensure within 90 days. - ARRT(MR), TMB not required. - ARMRIT, TMB not required
CPR - BLS required
