Job Description

    • The chief objective of this position:

      • Performs routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures using established protocols and procedures in a clinical lab, inpatient and epilepsy unit setting. Modalities include EEG, AEEG, EMU, Polysomnogram, Wada Testing, EP, NCV testing, ERG and IOM. The END Tech I must be proficient in one modality. Training on other modalities will take place on the job.

    • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:

      • Current CPR certification
    • Experience REQUIRED:

      • Minimum of 1 year of basic medical, patient care related experience
      • Experience and proficiency in 1 electroneurodiagnostic modality (e.g. EEG, AEEG, EMU, Polysomnogram, etc.)
    • Experience PREFERRED

      • Two or more years of work experience in electroneurodiagnostic lab setting
    • Education/training REQUIRED:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Education/training PREFERRED:

      • Graduate of Electroneurodiagnostic Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
