The Health Care Navigator is responsible for:
·Providing eligibility and enrollment assistance to uninsured and underinsured individuals and families and to anyone seeking more affordable health care options.
·This position requires participation in community events, travel to offsite locations to meet with individuals, and public speaking to raise awareness about health insurance coverage options.
·As part of the Financial Assistance department, this position will support all efforts to assist the uninsured and underinsured patients, as well as insured patients with health care access issues; including enrollment, education, appointments, transportation and prescriptions.
Required Education and Experience includes 3 years customer service, community outreach or social services related experience with High School Diploma or 1 year customer service, community outreach or social services related experience with Associates Degree.
