  • JOB SUMMARY
    • The chief objective of this position:

      • The Program Manager is responsible for assisting the Trauma Medical Director and organizational leaders in the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the military-civilian partnership for trauma training programs across the organization and in the regional prehospital environment. Works with organizational leaders to maintain a culture reflective of a commitment to provide effective clinical trauma training to all military affiliated training programs. Responsible for establishing partnerships with community and regional agencies in the development of and implementation of trauma training for military/diplomatic trainees.
    • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:

      • Must obtain US Government Security Clearance prior to hire date
    • Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:

      • US Citizen
      • US Government Security Clearance
      • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or BS with certification as EMT-Paramedic if applicable to applicant
      • AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent
    • Experience REQUIRED:

      • At least five (5) years' progressive leadership experience in healthcare environment
      • Prior military or civilian DOD experience
      • At least 3 years experience leading programs/projects
      • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
      • Ability to work under strict deadlines and fast-paced environment
      • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff and external community partners
    • Experience PREFERRED

      • At least five (5) years' experience in prehospital/emergency/trauma care
      • Strong knowledge of military trauma training programs
      • Experience managing programs associated with government partnerships/memorandum of understanding (MOUs)
    • Education/training REQUIRED:

      • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a healthcare related field (health care administration, public health, nursing)
    • Education/training PREFERRED:

      • Master’s Degree

      • Quality/Process Improvement
